Chiang Mai University will host a national trade fair in May to showcase agricultural innovations of the country.
Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak will preside over the opening ceremony on May 1.
The 800-rai Mae Hia Agricultural Research Station and Training Center at the Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University will be converted into a park featuring an exhibition of His Majesty the King’s agricultural achievements, entertainment activities, a farmers’ market, and agricultural innovations, including the first-ever car run by compressed biogas (CBG) produced from animal waste.
The university will also unveil the new species of Gladiolus flower to honor the princess.
The event will take place between May 1 and 10.
